28th Annual Tennessee River 600

July 21 thru July 27, 2024

Are you an avid Personal Watercraft (PWC) rider, or do you know someone who is? If you are interested in spending eight days cruising 600 miles on the Tennessee River and raising money for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, then this is the place for you!

The event began in May of 1997 as participants gathered in Paris Landing State Park in Buchanan, TN and traveled towards their destination in Knoxville. But due to heavy rains, high water, and the participant’s safety in jeopardy the event ended early and the riders never made it to Knoxville. For the next 18 years the trip began in Knoxville and ended at Paris Landing State Park because it was easier to go downstream. To commemorate the first trip, the ride began in Paris Landing during the 20th annual event in 2016. Now the event alternates routes each year!

Due to the pandemic that began in 2020, the route was altered due to social distancing and hotel availability. In 2021, we left Pickwick Landing State Park, rode up to Guntersville, turned around and went back. Finally, in 2022, the route took on a more “traditional” feel as we left Lenoir City, TN and finished in Pickwick Landing State Park. For 2024 we will be returning to the pandemic style and staying in Lenoir City for the week! This will provide some riding on parts of the river that we don’t normally get to see while also providing the benefit of not moving to different hotels every day!

To find out what the Tennessee River 600 is really all about (and no, it is not a race), check out our About Us page. If you don’t have enough time in your schedule to join us for the entire trip, take a look at our itinerary and consider joining us for just a day or two. Hopefully, we’ll see you on the water!

Get ready to ride in 2024!
