Hey everyone! July 24 is fast approaching and we can’t wait to get the old gang back on the water! We’re looking forward to making some new friends with the first time participants who will get to see first hand what this trip is all about! We thought now would be a great time to give you a brief news update so that you’ll be “in the know.”
Jason has just finished updating the Participants List and as of now we have 52 signed up! The good news is we’re still expecting a few more! We anticipate receiving a couple of more registrations to trickle in through the mail in the next few days and you can bet that as soon we get them, Jason will post them so check it often to make sure we received your registration!
We know that there’s a few participants who have opted to stay at Euchee Marina & Resort on Sunday night. Unfortunately the restaurant & lounge are closed for the season making dinner plans somewhat of a challenge. Add in the fact that even though Euchee Marina & Resort and Terrace View Marina/Arrowhead Resort may be only a few miles away by water, they’re seperated by almost an hour’s drive by road which would make it difficult at best to have the luggage truck bring in some meals. Don’t panic yet, we think we’ve come up with a couple of ideas that might work.
The first option is to stop by Blue Springs Marina on your way to Euchee Marina & Resort and grab a late afternoon/early evening dinner. In the morning you can then ride on over to either Arrowhead Resort or Terrace View Marina and enjoy breakfast. The second option is to carry enough food on your personal watercraft for both dinner and breakfast. (We like the first option the best.) If anyone has any ideas please let us know and we’ll be happy to share them with those staying at Euchee Marina & Resort.
We’re sure there will be more news to follow so keep checking back! Go ahead and sign up for our newsletter if you haven’t so that you’ll stay updated with the latest news we have!
